TUESDAY 30TH MAY – SATURDAY 3RD JUNE – THE CURIOUS ADVENTURES OF PINOCCHIO @ LYRIC THEATRE
From the creators of Tom Thumb, Lyric Theatre presents The Curious Adventures of Pinocchio, a show in Patrick Lyngo has adapted the tale into a retelling, transforming the story onto the stage, featuring crickets, cats, foxes and the world-famous puppet.

TUESDAY 6TH JUNE – SUNDAY 13TH AUGUST – TARANTINO LIVE: A ROCK MUSICAL @ RIVERSIDE STUDIOS
After a sold-out LA debut, Tarantino Live, a rock musical based on Quentin Tarantino Cinematic Universe, is coming to Hammersmith.
Fox Force Five are a group of fierce female superwomen popularized by PulpFiction. Join them as they join forces to take care of business and fight the Tyranny of Evil Men in an epic battle of revenge and redemption.
This action packed, eclectic meta-musical is an immersive cabaret experience which will combine the most iconic film scenes from Quentin Tarantino Cinematic Universe, live rock ‘n’ roll renditions of his greatest scores from Django Unchained, Kill Bill, Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Death Proof and many more.

The award-winning comedy ‘School Girls; Or, The African Mean Girls Play’ explores the universal similarities (and glaring differences) facing teenage girls around the world.
With the Miss Ghana pageant recruiter soon to arrive, Queen Bee Paulina and her crew excitedly await their arrival. Paulina is in the top position until the arrival of Ericka, a beautiful and talented transfer student, threatens Paulina’s chance of being chosen. Who will become Miss Ghana, and at what cost?

In this Riverside Studios performance, specially created for children aged 2 – 7 years old and their families, you will experience nursery rhymes coming to life, magnificent puppets, fantastic scenery and lots of music and singing.
THURSDAY 15TH JUNE – TEA DANCE @ IRISH CULTURE CENTRE, 1.30 PM – 4.30 PM
Every third Thursday of the month, The Irish Culture Centre hold a monthly community dance called ‘The Tea Dance’, which regularly leads to a packed floor of people dancing all afternoon to live bands playing music throughout the day.
WEDNESDAY 21ST JUNE – OPEN MIC POETRY NIGHT @ IRISH CULTURE CENTRE, 7.30 PM
Join host Owen O’Neill, an award winning Irish Writer, Performer and Poet, at the Irish Culture Centre for the open mic poetry night.
No matter what you age and level of writing and performing, the event is open to all. If you simply wish to come and spectate, you are also welcome to do so.

SATURDAY 10TH JUNE – OFF THE RAILS FESTIVAL @ VARIOUS VENUES IN W12
The festival will have an eclectic mix of music from more than 45 artists across eight stages in the five venues, with performances starting at 12 pm and running throughout the day and evening.
The festival is collaborating with Next Door Records, Bush Hall, The Bush Theatre, The Hoxton Hotel and St Stephen’s Church to co-host the musical events.
With Shepherd’s Bush having a rich history regarding music and the arts, the Director of Next Door Records, the brainchild behind the festival wants to showcase the live and electronic music scene.

SIXES SHEPHERD’S BUSH @ WESTFIELD LONDON, W12
Sixes Social Cricket offers an immersive experience powered by cutting-edge sports technology.
Participants take turns in the batting nets and test their batting skills against a series of balls bowled by a virtual bowler. The aim is to score the most points by striking the numbered targets around the batting nets. Those not batting will be able to cheer from the sidelines.
With challenge levels ranging from complete beginner to cricket expert, you can select your level when participating.

Laura Edralin, a local calligraphy artist, is hosting a creative experience perfect for all abilities.
The brush pen calligraphy workshop will be an hour and a half, followed by a delicious lunch with bottomless Prosecco or house mocktails.

TUESDAY 20TH JUNE – TOMORROW’S WARRIORS: J.A.M STRING COLLECTIVE @ NEXT DOOR RECORDS, 7.30 PM
J.A.M. is a new contemporary jazz string trio, playing their own compositions alongside re-imaginings of works by jazz heavyweights, such as Ornette Coleman, Thelonious Monk and Kenny Wheeler.
The trio features Annalise Lam violin, Julia Dos Reis viola, and Miranda Lewis-Brown cello.

FRIDAY 23RD JUNE – BUSH HALL PRESENTS WITH ED GAMBLE @ BUSH HALL
Ed Gamble, co-host of Off Menu and Taskmaster, and who has appeared on Live at the Apollo, The Royal Variety Performance and Mock The Week, will be joined by several other well-known names, including Amy Gledhill, star of the BAFTA-winning comedy Alma’s Not Normal and Ian Smith, star of BBC Radio 4’s The Now Show and Comedy Central Live.

TUESDAY 30TH MAY – ROYAL PAINTBOX AND POST-FILM Q&A @ CHISWICK CINEMA
Chiswick Cinema welcomes Margy Kinmonth, director of her documentary film, Royal Paintbox, for a post-film Q&A session following a screening of her documentary film with the then Prince, King Charles III.
HM King Charles III, for the first time on film, reveals an extraordinary treasure trove of rarely seen art by members of the Royal Family down the centuries, exploring a colourful palette of intimate family memory and observation.

TUESDAY 30TH MAY – FRIDAY 2ND JUNE – HALF TERM SPORTS CAMP @ ROCKS LANE, CHISWICK
Rocks Lanes are offering a variety of fun, safe and inclusive holiday camps through the May half-term break for years 1 to 8, including mini multi-sports, multi-sports, football, netball, tennis and padel tennis.
One of the holiday camps includes two fun-filled multi-sports camps, one for those in reception and nursery years and the other for those in years 1-4, which introduce the children to a range of sports using a combination of free-flow games covering physical development activities, and encourage them to participate them in a variety of different sports and active games.

WEDNESDAY 31ST MAY – FRIDAY 2ND JUNE – HALF TERM ART AND CLAY CAMPS @ KITE STUDIOS
Kite Studios’ half term camps are back for the May half term holiday, with a mixture of art and clay classes.
Clay sessions will include children exploring different ways of using clay including throwing on the wheel and hand building their own clay figurines. Please note, this class does not include firing.
Art sessions will encourage children to explore art through imagination by either painting, drawing, printmaking and mixed media projects.

FRIDAY 2ND JUNE – MONDAY 19TH JUNE @ GIFFORDS CIRCUS: ‘LES ENFANTS DU PARADIS’ @ CHISWICK HOUSE AND GARDENS
The popular Gifford Circus returns to Chiswick House and Gardens and this year has extended it to three weeks.
This year the Gifford Circus will feature lavish sets and period costumes designed by award-winning and internationally renowned designer Takis, whose work has featured in some of the world’s favourite opera houses, Tweedy Clown with new routines and skills and a brand new show ‘Les Enfants du Paradis’.

On Sunday 4th June, Dukes Meadows Food Market will have a special visit by the Ark Farm, bringing some of their friendly and well cared for animals for you to meet.
The animals will be in a large enclosure, enabling them to approach people if they are feeling friendly or distance themselves if needed.
TUESDAY 6TH JUNE – SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE (25TH ANNIVERSARY) AND Q&A @ CHISWICK CINEMA
Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the film, ‘Shakespeare in Love’ and the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s first folio, Chiswick Cinema are welcoming director John Madden for a post-film Q&A.
William Shakespeare is a struggling poet, playwright, and actor, suffering from writer’s block. He is in search of his muse, the woman who will inspire him to write one of his most famous plays, but all attempts fail him until he meets the beautiful Viola De Lesseps who loves the theatre, is a great admirer of Shakespeare’s works and would like nothing more than to take to the stage. However she is forbidden from doing so as only men can be actors.
Viola poses as a man, going by the name of “Thomas Kent”, in order to star in one of the plays. Shakespeare soon sees through her disguise and they begin a love affair. With William already married and Viola promised to Lord Wessex they know it cannot end happily for them. As they rehearse his new play, William and Viola’s love is transferred to the written page leading to the masterpiece that is ‘Romeo and Juliet’.

THURSDAY 8TH JUNE – USA AND CANADIAN WINE TASTING @ THE GOOD WINE SHOP, W4 1SY, 7 PM – 9 PM
It’s USA vs Canada. The in-house experts at The Good Wine Shop will compare contrasting and complimentary wine styles of the Pacific North Coast from Oregon to the Okanagan.

SATURDAY 10TH JUNE – SUNDAY 11TH JUNE – GREEN DAY FETE AND CRAFT FAIR @ BEDFORD PARK
Local favourite Bedford Park Festival is back this June.
The Green Day Fete and Craft Fair is held over two days and will include live music, food and drink, fairground rides, skittles, beat-the-goalie, a children’s corner and under-13s 5-a-side football. There will also be an array of stalls, from crafts and books to bric-a-brac and house plants.
At the heart of The Green Day Fete and Craft Fair are the Bandstand, which has a brilliant lineup of live music and performances by Ballet4Life, ArtsEd, Zoku tribal belly dance and many more.
This year the festival will raise money for three well-deserved charities: The Upper Room, Swinfen Telemedicine and Crosslight Chiswick. Find out more about The Upper Room in our interview with Iain Cooper, CEO of The Upper Room.
On Saturday 10th June Nicki Chapman, TV and radio presenter, will open the festival at Acton Green and judge the children’s fancy dress competition – the theme this year is ‘Chiswick’.

SATURDAY 17TH JUNE – WINE TASTING WITH DAVID KERMODE @ CHISWICK CINEMA, 7PM – 8.30 PM
A wine tasting to demystify the tasting note, dispel myths and create a perfect pairing. Writer, broadcaster and international wine judge (also known as Mr Vinosaurus), David appears on ITV’s This Morning, has a podcast, The Drinking Hour with David Kermode and is a wine columnist for Club Oenologique.

Join The George IV for a seasonally-inspired three-course menu paired with wine from the Bolney Estate in Sussex.
Bolney Estate in Sussex have been making wine since the 1970s and is one of the oldest vineyards in the UK.

Kew Gardens will close the children’s garden to the public on Wednesday 31st May to hold a quiet session to allow those children with special needs and disabilities, and their parents/carers to have a more comfortable visit and explore the garden.
The sessions are aimed at children aged 2 to 12 years with special educational needs and disabilities and will offer some gentle sensory activities for you to enjoy together.

SATURDAY 3RD JUNE – AUTISM AND SENSORY NEEDS FRIENDLY POND DIPPING @ WETLANDS CENTRE, BARNES, 10 AM
The Wetlands Centre’s most popular activity is pond dipping so to ensure it can be enjoyed by everyone, the Wetlands Centre are holding additional moorning session that have limited capacity and run of the quietest part of the day.
Children can grab a net and find out what lives in the water, from snails to shrimps and newts with their team of experts.

An annual event, that brings world-class polo and family entertainment to the heart of London.

Every month Kew Gardens has a ‘Little Explorers’ sessions involving children investigating nature through interactive storytelling, hands-on activties and outdoor exploration. Each month has a different theme, with June being flowers.
The sessions are designed to inspire children to think aoutthe natural world and spark their curiosity, with activities including nature-based crafts, seasonal nature hunts, seed planting, sensory play and story time.

The annual Artists at Home is back this year, offering an exciting way to explore artists’ studios, admire their artwork and even discover new original work for your home.
The pieces of artwork will be displayed at various artists’ studios across Shepherd’s Bush, Hammersmith and Chiswick, with each studio offering something different. You can plan your route to the artists open studios using their interactive map.

MONDAY 19TH JUNE – SUNDAY 25TH JUNE – CINCH CHAMPIONSHIPS @ THE QUEEN’S CLUB, WEST KENSINGTON
The Cinch Championship is an annual event on the men’s professional ATP World Tour and is one of the longest running ATP Tour tennis events. The event will be held at well-known The Queen’s Club in West Kensington which has hosted the event since
The tournament attracts the world’s best players and since 1979, many past Wimbledon champions and iconic players have taken pary in the tournament.
EVERY SATURDAY – PARK PLAY @ OSTERLEY PARK
Every Saturday morning from 9.30 am Osterley Park hold a two-hour activity session.
Park Play is free for the community to participate, playing active and includive games for two hours. It is a safe and welcoming space for everyone to connect and have fun.
